She arrives in the club and Sakura recognizes her from a program she wrote in her first year. Yagami encourages her to continue experiencing high school life, and she decides to agree. Yagami suggests she join the Robotics Club, and though she is reluctant due to Kurumazaki being there, she still prefers him over Kento. Yagami meets Itokura on the roof and expresses her displeasure with seeing Kento and unwillingness to return to the MRC. Yagami asks two students where she went, and they state she is on the roof, where she is seen often likely due to feeling embarrassment from the festival incident. Kento explains that he was part of the school cultural festival committee and Itokura's tyrannical leadership caused the members to stop attending meetings until Itokura was the only one left and was not able to bring himself to apologize. After Sakura continues to fail to fix the bug, Yagami asks Itokura to help him, but her seeing Kento Amasawa present causes her to leave. She explains the friction is a result of her opposing the idea of them participating in the RE Robo Rally, and the unpaid overtime she was forced to work due to Okitegawa's work ethic.ĭuring a scrimmage, the bug Sakura was tasked to solve takes effect and the robot stops accepting inputs. When Yagami exits the room, he encounters Akuta and the two sit down for a conversation. Meanwhile, Okitegawa opens up customization and part development of the robots to Yagami. When he returns to the club, Sakura reports he is still unable to fix the bug. Yagami wins and Okitegawa is impressed, asking him to be their operator for the tournament.īack at the MRC, Yagami intends to tell Amasawa about his finding when he discovers Itokura's programming talent. Yagami offers to operate and Okitegawa weighs his options: Sakura lack the skill, Kurumazaki lacks finesse, and Takamori lacks emotion management he accepts Yagami's offer and they breifly take time to show him the controls. The members leave for a scrimmage against West Mitsuya High, and when they arrive, Takamori is notified that their guest operator Mizuaki injured his finger and is unable to participate. Yagami does not receive a warm greeting and has trouble getting the members to open up to him.
Yagami is to infiltrate the club as by approaching them as an outside counsellor, approved by Yuzo Okuda due to friction between the club and its advisor Akuta. A string of thefts in Isezaki Ijincho with a total of several million yen committed by a robot with a part only available to the Seiryo High Robotics Club places them under suspicion.
Seiryo High always lost in the preliminaries, but they have massively improved after Okitegawa transferred and became the new club president. Participants include robotics clubs, college students, and adult teams. The Seiryo Robotics Club participates in a business-sponsored tournament called the RE Robo Rally, where robotics enthusiasts compete for a cash prize.
